Twisted Fairytales Craft Battle Raid Train

Welcome to the Twisted Fairytale: After Dark Raid Train… where the stories we grew up loving were actually giant walking red flags wrapped in glitter and trauma. 

Turns out the bedtime stories we heard as kids may have been heavily edited for “family-friendly” reasons. You know… to leave out the gaslighting, psychological warfare, revenge plots, and deeply concerning coping mechanisms.

This isn’t your childhood bedtime story anymore.

That damsel in distress? Probably manipulative and running a long con.
That prince? Emotionally unavailable with anger issues and a suspicious history of exes disappearing.
That magical kingdom? One HOA complaint away from collapse.

Maybe Cinderella didn’t “accidentally” leave the glass slipper behind. Maybe she planted it on purpose after orchestrating the entire ball to escape a toxic household and frame the royal family into choosing her.

Maybe Snow White wasn’t poisoned at all… maybe she faked her death to escape seven deeply codependent roommates and a stepmother obsessed with image control.

Maybe Little Red Riding Hood knew exactly who the wolf was the whole time and led him straight to Grandma’s house for reasons we probably shouldn’t unpack in therapy.

For this twisted raid train, you’ll create a pen inspired by a classic fairytale… BUT with the “real truth” exposed. Flip the narrative. Turn the hero into the villain. Reveal the psychological chaos, family dysfunction, toxic relationships, questionable parenting, cursed bloodlines, revenge arcs, identity crises, and suspiciously specific obsession with apples, shoes, and sleeping women.

Then tell us the story behind your pen and explain what REALLY happened behind the happily ever after.

The darker.
The more unhinged.
The more creatively chaotic…
…the better. 🖤

So grab your beads, glitter, resin, paint, and emotional damage.
Because fairytales were never meant for children anyway.

Schedule shows immediately upon signing up.

Craft item must be posted within 48 hrs of showtime. Sellers who do not have their pens posted at least 24 hrs will be removed from the lineup.

Rules are simple... schedule your show, post your craft, show up for your spot on time and know who you are raiding into. If you can not follow these simple rules, please consider a different raid train. The success of this raid train is dependent on you!
