How to Install the Raid Train Express PWA Mobile App and Enable Notifications
When you’re organizing or participating in a live stream raid train, timing is everything. Missing a slot or an update can disrupt the whole track. By installing Raid Train Express as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your phone, you get a dedicated app experience and—most importantly—real-time push notifications for invites, train reminders, and updates.
Here is exactly how to install it on both iOS and Android, and how to make sure your notifications are turned on.
📱 How to Install on iOS (iPhone & iPad)
Apple requires you to use the native Safari browser to install PWAs to your home screen.
-
Open Safari and go to raidtrainexpress.com.
-
Tap the Share button (the square icon with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
-
Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
-
Confirm the name and tap Add in the top-right corner.
The Raid Train Express icon will now appear on your home screen just like a regular app!
🤖 How to Install on Android
Android users can easily install the app using Google Chrome.
-
Open Chrome and navigate to raidtrainexpress.com.
-
Look for a pop-up at the bottom of the screen that says Add Raid Train Express to Home screen, or tap the three vertical dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
-
Select Install app (or Add to Home screen).
-
Follow the on-screen prompt to complete the installation.
🔔 How to Enable Push Notifications
Once you have installed and opened the app, you need to grant permission to receive real-time alerts. There are two quick ways to do this inside the app:
Method 1: The Notification Bell
-
Look at the top navigation bar and tap the Notification Bell icon.
-
Inside the dropdown menu, look for the Enable Notifications button at the very bottom.
-
Tap it, and allow system permissions if prompted by your phone.
Method 2: From Your Account Settings
If you ever need to toggle your notifications on or off, you can manage them directly from your profile:
-
Tap the Dashboard “Cog” (Settings) button, or go to your Profile and click Edit.
-
Scroll down to the Account section at the bottom of the page.
-
Under Push Notifications, you will see a toggle to turn them On or Disable them.
-
Tap Save Changes to finish.
💡 Pro-Tip for iOS Users: If you don’t see the notification prompts, make sure your iPhone is updated to iOS 16.4 or later, as Apple requires this version or higher to support web push notifications on the home screen.
Never miss a transition again. Install the app today and keep your raid trains running right on schedule!
