Awards & Voting

Awards let participants vote to recognize standout performers in your train. Winners earn badges displayed on their profiles.

Requires: Pro or Ultimate tier.

Setting Up Awards

In the train creation wizard (Step 5), enable Awards and define your categories. Examples:

• Best Sales Performance
• Most Engaging Show
• Community Favourite
• Funniest Moment

For each award category, set:

• Name: The award title
• Description: What participants are voting for
• Badge: The icon/badge the winner receives on their profile

Voting Window

Set a voting window (in hours) that opens after the train is completed. Participants have that window to cast their votes. After it closes, results are finalized.

Tip: A 24–48 hour window gives everyone time to vote even if they’re in different timezones.

Voting Rules

• Each participant gets one vote per award category.
• Votes are tallied after the window closes.
• A ranked score is calculated: 1st place = 3 points, 2nd = 2 points, 3rd = 1 point (if multiple rounds).

Revealing Results

Toggle Results Live on the train to reveal voting results to all participants. If you keep it off, only you as the organizer can see the standings.

Awarding Badges

When results are finalized, winners receive the corresponding badge on their public profiles. Badges include the award name and the train it was awarded for.

Awards vs Ratings

Awards are community-nominated recognition for specific achievements. Ratings are private star scores for overall performance. Both contribute to a participant’s reputation in different ways.
