Combining Duplicate Accounts
Ended up with two Raid Train Express accounts — maybe one from an email signup and one from Google, or an old account you forgot about? We can merge them into one, so your history lives in a single place.
How to request a merge
Account merges are performed by the Raid Train Express team. To request one:
- Go to the Support page (
/support) and use the contact form. - Tell us the two accounts involved (the email address or Whatnot username on each) and which one you want to keep.
- We may ask you to confirm you control both accounts before merging.
What a merge does
Everything from the duplicate account moves onto the account you keep: trains you organized, slots and participation history, ratings given and received, contacts and friend circles, challenges, notifications, and settings-level data. The duplicate account is then closed — its login stops working and its profile page goes away.
A merge can’t be undone, so double-check which account you want to keep before asking (usually it’s the one with your verified Whatnot username and the most history).
Avoiding duplicates in the future
- Sign in the same way every time. If you created your account with email + password, keep using that; mixing in “Continue with Google” on a different email creates a second account.
- If you changed your email address, update it in Settings rather than signing up fresh.
Still stuck? Use the contact form on the support page.
